Chocolate Lover’s Mug Cake


My husband and I like to stay home on Valentine’s Day to avoid the hustle and bustle. Going out to eat on Valentine’s Day in a packed restaurant full of strangers seems unromantic to me. Just my own opinion.
This dessert is so easy and fast and helps keep you from slaving away in the kitchen for more snuggling up time on the couch with your Valentine!
This dessert is perfect for topping off with some coconut whipped cream! Just add 2 tablespoons of organic honey to one can of chilled coconut cream and mix with a hand mixer until desired consistency.
Chocolate Lover’s Mug Cake
2 tablespoons almond flour
2 teaspoons coconut flour
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1 1/2 teaspoon honey
1 egg
1 tablespoon paleo friendly dark chocolate chips
In a microwave safe mug, add and mix all dry ingredients
Add in wet ingredients, mix well
Mix in chocolate chips
Microwave for 60 seconds
